Replace the existing ERP system to support their business model more effectively.
Automate data exchanges with customers and suppliers based on the MIBS SAP system, and implement the bar-code based warehouse management system interfaces with the MIBS SAP system.
Solution
Implemented Metal One Canada's business model based on the MIBS SAP template.
Developed EDI interfaces with customers and supplies and automated the shipping/receiving processed by integrating the bar-code warehouse system with the MIBS SAP system.
Result/Benefits
Completed SAP and EDI interface implementations in January, 2006. In July, 2007, the bar-code warehouse system was developed and established the automated process from purchase through shipment.
Current Status
The financial management process and the warehouse process were improved significantly with MIBS's solution.
They are planning to implement RFID solution, which is also one of core service menu of MIBS, in order to improve the efficiency and tighten the relationship with customers.
